Edward Hopper - Eleven AM
This was my chosen artwork from Edward Hopper, called Eleven Am. My narrative which i came up with gave me my concept on a woman with a thousand hopes and dreams. In representing this idea i had created a skin which surrounded my two rooms i had created, essentially light and dark, a journey from one spectrum to the other.
Edward Hopper (July 22, 1882 – May 15, 1967)
Edward was a prominent American realist painter and printmaker. While most popularly known for his oil paintings, he was equally proficient as a watercolorist and printmaker in etching. In both his urban and rural scenes, his spare and finely calculated renderings reflected his personal vision of modern American life.
